True to his word, Jerry overnighted me a new control panel but unfortunately the electrical short which occurred when my friend and I tried to fix the damage caused to the treadmill in transit was within the circuit board or wiring of the treadmill itself and wasn't in the control panel.  So, Jerry sent out a new treadmill to me today which I should have next week.  As soon as I get it and set it up I will provide an update.  

The last time it went out on a Monday via UPS and I got it on a Friday so I'm hoping since it's going out today I will get it next Wednesday or so.  The holiday weekend could delay that by a day or two but hopefully by late next week I will be walking.

On a different note, I have been standing on the treadmill at my desk for the last week now.  My feet hurt a bit but I've upgraded to thick soled tennis shoes which seems to help.  Even with those at the end of the day my feet are a bit sore.  I'm hoping that once I start walking instead of standing still it will alleviate some of the ache.
